Linda Metcalf, PhD is the author of over 10 books.  Her interest is primarily the application of solution focused therapy in the school setting. She presents internationally on solution focused therapy to schools, agencies and universities. She has a private in Fort Worth, TX where she specializes in working with individuals couples and families.

In her presentations her primary focused is applying SFT in school and agency settings, She has a dynamic presentation style leading her to being a highly sought after lecturer around the world.

Dr. Metcalf is currently the President-Elect for the American Association for Marriage and Family Therapy.

Elliott Connie, MA, LPC is the co-editor of "The Art of Solution Focused Therapy", a ground breaking book on SFT that was released in 2009 by Springer Publishing Company. His focus is on using SFT with couples and families and he presents both nationally and internationally on the subject. He also has a strong interest in business and applying SFT in the corporate world. He frequently presents to professional organizations, school districts, corporations, non-profit organizations and universities. He currently maintains a private practice in Keller, TX where he works with clients struggling with problems in their marriages and families.

Elliott has a engaging and passionate presentation style which has led to him being a highly sought after presenter.

Sara Smock, PhD, is the developer of the Solution Building Inventory, an assessment of Solution-Focused Brief Therapy’s core components. Her experience lies in research on the effectiveness of SFBT as well as its growing recognition as an evidence-based practice. Dr. Smock has numerous publications on SFBT and is a trainer in UT Arlington’s Solution Focused Certification program.

Dr. Smock sees clients in the Lubbock, TX area and specializes in applying this approach to help clients overcome addictions. She is a highly recognized presenter with a warm presentation style that allows her audience to relax and travel into solution land with her.
